This project involves setting up a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) to recycle wastewater and reuse it within member industries in the SEZ.
Represents a quantifiable amount of unutilized water conserved from project activities that include wastewater recycling with gainful end use to rainwater harvesting and aquifer recharge efforts globally.
R0Us are issued typically in terms of one cubic meter or 1000 liters of groundwater equivalent prevented or avoided from being extracted under the UWR RoU Standard from year 2014 onwards.
RoU scope description - 1. Measures for conservation and storage of unutilized water for future requirements including freshwater ecosystems and wetlands. 2. Conservation measures taken to recycle and reuse water, spent wash, wastewater etc across or within specific industrial processes and systems.
