Rainwater Harvesting Project by ACAATINGA

The project aims to improve the living conditions by installation of 202 cisterns for the collection and storage of the rain water in the local communities of Crateus and Buriti dos of Brazil. The capacity of the each cistern is 16,000 liters. By maintaining these systems, families can access quality water more easily, reducing the need for long walks to find water and avoiding reliance on low-quality sources.
